What is soft play rental and is it safe?


Yes, it is safe! Soft play rental is an indoor/outdoor safe play area with equipment made from soft materials. These activities provide a safe and engaging environment for children ages 0-5 to play, explore and create friendships. There are many benefits to soft play such as cognitive and developmental growth, social skills, security, problem solving and adaptability to name a few. Not only are they great developmentally, but they are also tons of fun!

BOOKING

All booking requests should be made on our website using the “booking form” tab. Our event coordinator will then send you an email confirming availability and assist in getting you on our schedule. If you do not hear back from us within 48hrs, please send us a DM on instagram or shoot us an email at info@kkpartyco.com

A booking inquiry does NOT mean your date is secured. Your date is not secured until the deposit is paid and the contract is signed. Back and forth communication does not secure your date.

PAYMENTS

Do you require a deposit?

Yes! The deposit is 30% of your total. This amount secures your date and will be deducted from your balance. Your date is not reserved until the retainer is paid. Events booked within a weeks notice will be charged the full amount upfront.


When is the final balance due?

Final balance is due 48 hours before the event. We will NOT set up until payment has been made. Nonpayment will result in delayed set up and/or cancellation of event.


What payments do you accept?

We accept credit card payments through our online booking system.


Is there a delivery fee?

Yes. We charge a fee for deliveries beyond 10 miles of the New Palestine zip code 46163. Price is $2 per mile.

WEATHER

Do you set up outdoors?

Yes, absolutely! Our indoor months are NOV-MARCH while our outdoor events are APRIL-OCT. However, as long as weather permits, we will set up outside for any event. We ask that you choose a shaded area to ensure that the equipment doesn't get too hot for the little ones. Additionally, we will not set up on uneven surfaces to ensure the children's safety. If you have chosen a package that includes a bounce house, please ensure there is a power source within 25ft available. Please keep in mind, we do not set up in public parks. We DO require an indoor backup plan for outdoor setups incase of unfavorable weather.


What if it rains?

Unfortunately, we will not set up outdoors if there is rain in the forecast. Safety is our top priority so we ask that you have an indoor plan available as a backup should it rain on the day of your event. In the event of rain or high winds exceeding 20 mph (including a forecasted probability of 50% or greater) during your rental period, same day cancellations/postponements will be accepted without penalty if made by 8am on the event date. Following a cancellation/postponement, you may use your deposit as a credit towards a future date. This credit is valid for 365 days from your book date and we will work with you to rebook upon availability on our schedule.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Can we make changes to our rental?

Yes; however, changes must be made at least 7 business days prior to your event so we can ensure availability and plan accordingly.


What if I need to cancel?

While we hope you don't have to cancel all the fun, we understand life happens. Should you need to cancel your event, please notify us as soon as possible at info@kkpartyco.com. Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking will receive a full refund of deposit. Cancellations made after 48 hours of booking will result in forfeiture of deposit. If you do not receive a response to your cancellation within 24 hours, please send us another email to confirm.

MISCELLANEOUS

What is your policy for damaged products?

We recognize that children can sometimes cause unintentional damage to soft play equipment while they are having a fun time. To help keep the quality of our equipment in great shape, we ask the following: 

  • No shoes

  • No food, drinks or candy

  • No sharp objects

  • No water / pool play near soft play area

  • No face paint, glitter or confetti

  • Adult supervision required at all times

  • Ages 0-5 ONLY on soft play / toddler equipment

  • Equipment must stay in designated safe play areas!

If an item is intentionally or completely destroyed, an invoice for the cost of replacement will be sent. This also applies if any of the rules listed in the contract are broken. The invoice must be paid within 7 days. Contracts are required to be signed prior to the set up of equipment. 

Are products cleaned before being rented?

Absolutely. All of our equipment, including thousands of ball pit balls, are cleaned and sanitized before and after each event. We only allow our equipment to be rented out once per day so you will always have a fresh playset. After we set up, we will apply one last coat of disinfectant before we allow the children to begin their fun!

Do you offer additional time?

We do! $50 per additional hour. Time cannot be added on same day.

Are your rentals available for pick up?

We do not offer pick up on majority of our rentals. We do however have grab and go balloon & backdrop rental options.

Do you travel?

We do travel if our schedule allows for it. Events beyond an hour away must spend $800 minimum in rentals (before tax & delivery) and must pay a delivery fee of $2/mi.
